An Open Access journal
Materials and Devices is an Open Access journal which publishes original, and peer-reviewed papers accessible only via internet. It is also free of charges for authors. Your published article can be freely downloaded, and self archiving of your paper is not only allowed, but strongly encouraged!
Copyright on any article in Materials and Devices is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)), which is favourable to authors.
Materials and Devices aims at publishing papers on all aspects related to materials, namely according to their chemical formula, to their physical properties, to their nature, or according to some specific applications. Papers on biomaterials, geomaterials, archeomaterials or on studies of ancient materials are also welcome. A particular attention is also paid to environmental studies related with materials. Authors are also encouraged to submit papers on theoretical studies applied to materials, on simulation or mathematical approaches. Concerning Devices, the scope is restricted to those integrating particular materials. See details in "How to submit an article".
